General Rules
Be sure to read the Island Ways and Plot when you fnish with these.
Absolutely no profanity. It will not be tolerated.
Follow the proboards Terms of Service.
Be considerate of others; you wouldn't want to be made fun of by somebody you've never even met before.
No chat-speak at all, except in the completely random board. I utterly loathe chat-speak. Make an effort to use proper grammar.
When in doubt, write it out! It's an old saying my eighth-grade algebra teacher lived by. Here it is relevant in that if you are in doubt about something, pm me.
Your username must reflect the name of at least one of your characters.
example: Since I have a character named Seaborn Arrow and will have a character named Wise Arrow, it is okay for my name to be Arrow.
I could also have Seaborn Arrow, Wise Arrow, Arroweh, just something that reflects the name of at least one of my characters.
However, I could not have something like ArRoW_PwNs_YoU_aLl,
even though it is true.
I reserve the right to add more rules as I see fit.
Role-playing Rules
Do not godmod[make your character totally invincible].
Do not powerplay[Control another person's character without permission]
Before submitting your post, please use the 'Spell Check' button at the bottom. It helps.
You must post at least six sentences per post, and be sure that it is enough so that another character can reply to it.
Absolutely no one-liners. EVER. OR ELSE. I understand the occasional writer's block[I am often plagued by it myself], but you can at least make three or four sentences.
All general rules apply.
Roleplay on the threads set up by me. The day will change every one-and-one-half weeks, so keep watch and stay active.
Character Creation Rules
Use the form. No exceptions.
Only post your bios in the Creation board or the Unfinished board.
If the form does not pop up automatically upon clicking the 'new thread' button, wait a few seconds. This is especially relevant if you have dial-up or a slow connection.
Do not make your character flawless.
Be sure to type the word 'curtains' as a password for the creation board.
Wait for me or another admin to come and accept your bio before posting with that character.
You may have as many characters as you wish, but remember that you must put each in your signature before the bio can be accepted.
All names are two part, and both parts of the name should be capitalized.
ex: Big Tree, Brown Foot, Flaming Bush
You may only have one High Position Character [Leader, General, Healer, Healer Apprentice] unless you are an Administrator. Administrators are allowed to have two high positions unless I say otherwise.
Other IC Rules
If your character gets a mate or becomes pregnant, pm me. I will edit your bio accoringly, as well as alert the Eldest Healer. I will decide on the number of children and gender[s], and give this to the Eldest Healer. You are to then have your character travel to the Healer hut to find out this information. If you would like to have other people roleplay one or more of your children, use the adoption board. Both parents get first pick.
Follow along with the setting in the thread. The weather will be posted in the first post along with the day, month, year, and time of day.
Follow the plot and island ways.
